Applications Now Open | NIH-Funded Behavioral Intervention Development Training Program
The Behavioral Intervention Development (BID) Training Program (the Winter Institute) is now accepting applications for its inaugural January 2027 cohort.
This NIH-funded virtual educational program is designed for doctoral-level investigators who are conducting or preparing to conduct behavioral intervention development research and want to strengthen their application of the NIH Stage Model.
Over eight weeks, fellows will participate in:
• Faculty-led, discussion-based learning
• Small-group learning communities
• Mentorship from nationally recognized faculty
• Applied project development using their own research
• Practical tools to strengthen behavioral intervention development research
Program Dates
January 5 – February 26, 2027 (small groups continue meeting monthly till June 2027)
Time Commitment
Approximately 3–4 hours per week
