Funding Opportunity: Columbia Roybal Center Behavioral RCT Award Program
The NIA-funded Columbia Roybal Center for Fearless Behavior Change invites investigators at all career stages to submit proposals for randomized clinical trials (RCTs) testing behavioral interventions designed to reduce psychological distress and/or improve health behaviors in midlife and older adults who have experienced serious health events such as cardiac arrest, stroke, or recent diagnosis of cancer or end-stage renal disease. Proposals evaluating implementation strategies for increasing the uptake of evidence-based behavioral interventions are also eligible.
Award Amount
Up to $300,000 in total costs over a 2-year period. Up to 2 awards will be selected.
Deadline
LOIs are required and must be submitted by Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Notice of Selection
LOI applicants will be notified if selected to submit a full application by Friday, October 23, 2026
Full applications will be due Monday, December 7, 2026.
The anticipated project period is June 01, 2027 – May 31, 2029 pending NIA and IRB approval.
