NIH RFI: Developing Consent Language for Research Using Digital Health Technologies
NIH is happy to announce that an RFI for Developing Consent Language for Research Using Digital Health Technologies (NOT-OD-24-002) is now live for public input. The draft resource includes general points to consider, instructions for use, and optional sample language for the research community, and is intended to inform research teams and Institutional Review Board (IRB) members who are planning, reviewing, or conducting research that studies or uses digital health technologies. The goal of this effort is ultimately to increase transparency and understanding for potential participants who are considering joining studies using or investigating digital health technologies.
Public comment is open until December 12, 2023. NIH is looking forward to learning more from the public input to make this resource even more valuable to the research community.
